Public Information Collection Requirement Submitted to OMB for
Review
November 22, 1994.
The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) submitted the
following public information collection requirement to OMB for review
and clearance under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1980, Public Law 96-
511. Copies of the submission may be obtained by calling the NCUA
Clearance Officer listed. Comments regarding information collections

National Credit Union Administration
OMB Number: New Collection.
Form Number: NCUA 1343.
Type of Review: Clearance of new collection.
Title: ACH Program Data Form.
Description: NCUA annually collects from federally chartered credit
unions and federally-insured state chartered credit unions a
capitalization deposit adjustment which maintains the National Credit
Union Share Insurance Fund. An operating fee, under which the agency
functions, is also collected from federally-chartered credit unions.
The collection of ACH information will help provide for credit union
remittance of deposits and operation fees via electronic funds transfer
(EFT). Federal policy on EFT is made clear in the Code of Federal
Regulation. 31 CFR 206.4(a)(4) states: ``EFT will be adopted as the
standard method of payment for all Federal program payments originated
by agencies or their agents.''

Estimated Number of Respondents: 12,000.
Estimated Burden Hours per Response: .75 Hours.
Frequency of Response: One time collection.
Estimated Total Reporting Burden: 9,000 hours.
