All meetings are subject to change due to adverse weather restricting travel. SUMMARY: The public is invited to participate in these upcoming Board and Regional Council meetings. After the public testimony, individuals will be able to listen to the Regional Council's or the Board's deliberation on the agenda items. MATTERS TO BE CONSIDERED: The Regional Councils will be electing officers and discussing the issues of designated hunters, the annual report, customary and traditional use eligibility determination schedules, and proposals for annual seasons and harvest limits. The Board will be reviewing Requests for Reconsideration regarding king crab size limits in the Kodiak District and moose and caribou hunter restrictions on the Severson Peninsula. The Board will also be considering a Special Action requested by the Alaska Department of Fish and Game to adjust lynx trapping seasons in various Units. SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The Regional Councils have been established in accordance with Section 805 of the Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act, Pub. L. 96-487, and Subsistence Management Regulations for Public Lands in Alaska, subparts A, B, and C (57 FR 22940-22964). They advise the Federal Government on all matters related to the subsistence taking of fish and wildlife on public lands in Alaska and operate in accordance with provisions of the Federal Advisory Committee Act. The public is invited to participate in the Regional Council meetings. The Federal Subsistence Board was established in accordance with Section 814 of the Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act, Pub. L. 96-487, and Subsistence Management Regulations for Public Lands in Alaska, subparts A, B, and C (57 FR 22940-22964). The Secretary of the Interior and Secretary of Agriculture delegated responsibility for administering the subsistence taking and use of fish and wildlife on public lands to this body.
