Take notice that on August 15, 1994, Algonquin Gas Transmission Company (Algonquin) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Fourth Revised Volume No. 1, the following revised tariff sheet, with an effective date of July 1, 1994: Sub First Revised Sheet No. 97A Algonquin states that the revised tariff sheet reflects a reduction in gas supply realignment costs to be billed to Algonquin by Texas Eastern Transmission Corporation. Algonquin requests that the Commission waive Sec. 154.22 of the Commission's regulations to the extent that may be necessary to place this tariff sheet into effect as requested. Algonquin states that copies of this filing were mailed to all customers of Algonquin and interested state commissions and all parties in RP94-248-000. Any person desiring to protect said filing should file a protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 825 North Capitol Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with Sec. 385.211 of the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure 18 CFR 385.211. All such protests should be filed on or before August 25, 1994. Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken but will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceeding.
