BHP Minerals International Exploration Inc.

AGENCY: U.S. Geological Survey, Interior.

ACTION: Notice.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

SUMMARY: Notice is hereby given that the U.S. Geological Survey has 
accepted from BHP Minerals International Exploration, Inc. a 
contribution of $20,000 to support rhenium-osmium studies of ore 
deposits in areas such as the Viburnum and Carlin Trends as well as 
several massive sulfide examples from Finland and Sweden.

DATES: This notice is effective August 24, 1994.
