[Federal Register Volume 59, Number 142 (Tuesday, July 26, 1994)] [Unknown Section] [Page 0] From the Federal Register Online via the Government Publishing Office [www.gpo.gov] [FR Doc No: 94-18102] [[Page Unknown]] [Federal Register: July 26, 1994] ----------------------------------------------------------------------- DEPARTMENT OF LABOR [TA-W-27,959] Pennzoil Sulphur Company A/K/A Pennzoil Company, Pecos, TX; Amended Certification Regarding Eligibility To Apply for Worker Adjustment Assistance In accordance with Section 223 of the Trade Act of 1974 (19 U.S.C. 2273) the Department of Labor issued a Certification of Eligibility to Apply for Worker Adjustment Assistance applicable to all workers of the subject firm. The certification notice was issued on December 31, 1992 and published in the Federal Register on January 13, 1993 (58 FR 4186). At the request of the State Agency, the Department reviewed the certification for workers on the subject firm. The investigation findings show that the claimants' wages are reported under an unemployment insurance (UI) tax account for Pennzoil Company, not Pennzoil Sulphur Company. Accordingly, the Department is amending the certification to properly reflect this matter. The amended notice applicable to TA-W-27, 959 is hereby issued as follows: ``All workers of Pennzoil Sulphur Company, Pecos, Texas, also known as Pennzoil Company, Pecos, Texas who became totally or partially separated from employment on or after October 26, 1992, through two years from the date of the initial certification are eligible to apply for adjustment assistance under Section 223 of the Trade Act of 1974.'' Signed at Washington, DC, this 8th day of July, 1994. Violet L. Thompson, Deputy Director, Office of Trade Adjustment Assistance. [FR Doc. 94-18102 Filed 7-25-94; 8:45 am] BILLING CODE 4510-30-M
