Take notice that on May 4, 1994, Equitrans, Inc. (Equitrans) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, First Revised Volume No. 1, the following proposed tariff sheets: Sub 3rd Sub Second Revised Sheet No. 5 Sub 3rd Sub First Revised Sheet No. 7 The proposed tariff sheets contain an effective date of March 1, 1994. On April 20, 1994, the Commission issued an Order on Rehearing and Motion Filing in the instant proceeding. The Commission required Equitrans to file revised tariff sheets that specify the amount of the demand surcharge resulting from Equitrans' proposed stranded cost treatment of certain company-owned production costs and well plugging costs. Equitrans states that the revised rate sheets are filed in compliance with the Commission's order, and contain separate columns showing the base tariff rates and the stranded cost surcharge for each service to which the surcharge applies. Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 825 North Capitol Street NE., Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Sec. 385.211 of the Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such motions or protests should be filed on or before May 17, 1994. Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceeding.
