AGENCY: National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), NOAA, Commerce.

ACTION: Modification No. 3 to permit No. 628, Indianapolis Zoo (P409).

SUMMARY: Notice is hereby given that Permit No. 628, issued to the 
Indianapolis Zoological Society, Inc., Indianapolis, Indiana, has been 
modified.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Notice is hereby given that pursuant to the 
provisions of Secs. 216.33 (d) and (e) of the Regulations Governing the 
Taking and Importing of Marine Mammals (50 CFR part 216), Public 
Display Permit No. 628, issued to the Indianapolis Zoological Society, 
Inc., Indianapolis, Indiana 46222, on April 13, 1988 (53 FR 12801), 
modified October 5, 1989 (54 FR 42321) and October 28, 1993 (58 FR 
58686), is further modified as follows:
    Section B.6, the first sentence is changed to read:

``6. The authority to acquire the Pseudorca crassidens authorized 
herein shall extend from date of issuance through February 28, 1994.''

    All other conditions currently contained in the permit remain in 
effect.
    This modification is effective on January 1, 1994.
