In accordance with section 10(a)(2) of the Federal Advisory
Committee Act (P.L. 92-463), announcement is made of the following
Committee Meeting:
Name of Committee: Army Science Board (ASB).
Date of Meeting: 11 and 12 January 1994.
Time of Meeting: 11 January.

Place: Pentagon, Washington, DC.
Agenda: The Army Science Board's Ad Hoc Study on ``Innovation in
Artillery Force Structure'' will hold an initial meeting of the
Panel Members. The intent of the meeting is to present general and
specific information to the panel pertaining to force structure
development within the Army. It will consist of primarily classified
briefings. This meeting will be closed to the public (where
indicated) in accordance with section 552b(c) of title 5, U.S.C.,
specifically subparagraph (1) and (4) thereof, and Title 5, U.S.C.,
Appendix 2, subsection 10(d). The proprietary and classified matters
to be discussed are so inextricably intertwined so as to preclude
opening all portions of the meeting.
The open portion of the meeting will be open to the public. Any
person may attend, appear before or file statement with the committee
at the time and in the matter permitted by the committee. The ASB
