Take notice that on December 20, 1993, the Corporation Commission of the State of Oklahoma (Oklahoma) submitted the above-referenced notice of determination pursuant to Sec. 271.703(c)(3) of the Commission's regulations, that the basal Spiro Sandstone member of the Atoka Formation (Basal Atoka Formation), underlying a portion of Latimer County, Oklahoma, qualifies as a tight formation under section 107(c)(5) of the Natural Gas Policy Act of 1978. The recommended area is described as Sections 4, 8, and 17 of T6N, R18E, in Latimer County, Oklahoma. The notice of determination also contains Oklahoma's findings that the referenced formation meets the requirements of the Commission's regulations set forth in 18 CFR part 271. The application for determination is available for inspection, except for material which is confidential under 18 CFR 275.206, at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 825 North Capitol Street, NE., Washington DC 20426. Persons objecting to the determination may file a protest, in accordance with 18 CFR 275.203 and 275.204, within 20 days after the date this notice is issued by the Commission. Lois D.
