U.S. INTERNATIONAL TRANSACTIONS

In the first quarter of 2000, the goods deficit rose to $105.8 billion, 
from $96.2 billion in the fourth quarter. The current account deficit 
rose to $102.3 billion in the first quarter, from $96.2 billion in the 
fourth quarter. (Series revised.)
