JAMES A. TRAFICANT, JR. of ohio in the house of representatives Tuesday, July 10, 2001 Mr. TRAFICANT. Mr. Speaker, today I want to congratulate the extraordinary young people that excelled in the 2001 Ohio Youth Hunter Education Challenge. This respectable program is a comprehensive youth program of outdoor skills and safety training for young hunters who have completed hunter- safety training at the state-or provincial-level. Developed by the National Rifle Association in 1985, volunteer hunting education instructors provide expertise and hands-on training in various methods of take and game. The Challenge offers young people the opportunity to show their knowledge and ability, which was earned through hard work and dedication.
