REMEMBERING JEREMY CAMPBELL
Mr. CRAPO. Madam President, I honor and remember the life of
Jeremy Campbell, the brother of Brendan Campbell, a dedicated member of
my staff.
As we approach the anniversary of Jeremy's death on October 27, 2025,
we are reminded of his goodness and love that were hallmarks of
Jeremy's life.
Jeremy enjoyed being outdoors: riding dirt bikes, hunting, fishing,
and playing baseball. He spent many weekends at motocross tracks and
enjoyed working on race cars with his dad and friends. He spent time
working in his yard and mowing the grass for his mom. Jeremy also liked
boat rides, golfing, and spending time with his dad.
He was an example of how to overcome significant challenges with a
positive attitude, humor, love, and determination. In 2008, Jeremy
suffered a traumatic brain injury following a motocross accident. In
response, he demonstrated an unflinching resilience as he worked to re-
learn how to walk, talk, and eat, along with many other aspects of
daily life. His same love for the outdoors brought him a new love for
horse therapy, forging a bond with the horses and his instructors at
StableStrides.
Jeremy's parents, siblings, nieces, grandmothers, aunts, uncles,
cousins, and the love of his life lost a true, reliable man. His loved
ones described him as ``kind, caring and patient. Helping people made
his heart so full. He inspired everyone who knew him with his positive
attitude, humor, and love.''
I honor Jeremy's life today as one taken too soon, but one filled
with love and purpose throughout his 38 years. Since his passing, many
have shared how Jeremy touched their lives, how he lent them a helping
hand, how he checked on them, how he made them feel safe and, of
course, not alone.
I join the prayers for healing and comfort for Jeremy's family and
extend very special condolences to his parents Marty and Sherri: May
you find consolation in knowing you helped send forward into our world
a son who brought light to others. Jeremy is deeply missed, and his
lasting, positive impact is felt in the lives of those who were
fortunate to know him. As we honor his life, we mourn his loss and
cherish his loving memory.
