Mr. CARTER of Georgia. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to recognize Judge
Veronica H. Cope and Judge Kathrine M. Armstrong and would like to
congratulate them on their appointment to serve on the Gwinnett
Judicial Circuit Superior Court.
Governor Kemp recently selected these two women for these important
and admirable positions. Both judges have esteemed legal careers and
have shown a dedication to justice through their service to their
communities.
Judge Cope has promoted social justice for Georgians throughout her
career and has fought for fairness and equality for all Georgians.
Judge Armstrong is a lifelong citizen of Gwinnett County and has led
a life serving her friends, neighbors, and community from the very
beginning.
I have no doubt that both of these judges will serve with dedication
and shall hold the utmost respect for their office and their
communities.
