                   PAYING TRIBUTE TO EUGENE WILLIAMS

  (Mr. DAVIS of Illinois asked and was given permission to address the 
House for 1 minute and to revise and extend his remarks.)
  Mr. DAVIS of Illinois. Mr. Speaker, I rise to pay tribute to Mr. 
Eugene Williams, a dear friend and colleague, who has passed away 
recently.
  Eugene is the brother of my district director, Ms. Cherita Logan. 
Their family has been involved with our activities for more than 40 
years.
  Mr. Speaker, I rise to thank the family of Eugene for their 
engagement, involvement, and participation. May he rest in peace.
