                         APPRECIATION FOR OMAN

  Mr. WILSON of South Carolina. Mr. Speaker, the relationship between 
the Sultanate of Oman and America goes back over 200 years.
  Trade relations between the two countries were established in the 
early years of American independence on September 21, 1833, with the 
Treaty of Amity and Commerce. Oman was the first Gulf nation to 
recognize America, sending an envoy in 1841.
  Today, Oman is a key American security, economic, and defense partner 
with a Free Trade Agreement coming into effect on January 1, 2009, 
leading to trade of over $4 billion in goods and services.
  The terrorist regime in Iran has launched at least 19 drone attacks 
on Oman in recent months targeting their ports, as well as an attack on 
Omani radar systems this month.
  Iran and its terrorist regime must be stopped and reopen the Strait 
of Hormuz without tolls or fees.
  In conclusion, God Bless Our Troops. Trump is reinstituting Peace 
Through Strength, revealing war criminal Putin lies, insulting Trump 
and mocking Trump as war criminal Putin provides targeting intelligence 
to Iran to kill American troops which confirms the need for the Lindsey 
Graham Russian-Iran Sanctions Act.
