                NOTICE OF INTENT TO OBJECT TO PROCEEDING

  I, Senator Ron Wyden, intend to object to proceeding to S. 4979, a 
bill to establish a process to assure the long-term fiscal stability of 
the Federal Old-Age and Survivors Insurance Trust Fund and the Federal
