people of Leon County.
The community center is the culmination of years of dedication and
commitment by the Delta Kappa Omega Foundation, Incorporated, providing
academic scholarships to deserving students through its Annual
Gentlemen Sampler fundraising event and providing financial support to
the under-served through its partnership with local social services
agencies; and through countless other programs and projects.
The organization worked with many agencies in the community,
including the City of Tallahassee, the Community Redevelopment Agency
and the Providence Neighborhood Association, to build the Delta Kappa
Omega/Providence Community Service Center.
Delta Kappa Omega Foundation, Incorporated, was established in Leon
County in October of 1996. For the past 16 years, the organization has
been committed to providing service that enhances the education, civic
