  SA 5824. Mr. THUNE proposed an amendment to amendment SA 5823 
proposed by Mr. Thune to the bill H.R. 6644, a bill to increase the 
supply of housing in America, and for other purposes; as follows:

       At the end add the following:
       ``This Act shall take effect 1 day after the date of 
     enactment.''
