 ALLOWING EMANCIPATION HALL TO BE USED FOR A CEREMONY TO DEDICATE THE 
 SEMIQUINCENTENNIAL CONGRESSIONAL TIME CAPSULE ON WEDNESDAY, JUNE 24, 
                                  2026

  Mrs. BICE. Mr. Speaker, I ask unanimous consent that the Committee on 
House Administration be discharged from further consideration of the 
concurrent resolution (H. Con. Res. 109) allowing Emancipation Hall to 
be used for a ceremony to dedicate the Semiquincentennial Congressional 
Time Capsule on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, and ask for its immediate 
consideration in the House.
  The Clerk read the title of the concurrent resolution.
  The SPEAKER pro tempore (Mr. Crank). Is there objection to the 
request of the gentlewoman from Oklahoma?
  There was no objection.
  The text of the concurrent resolution is as follows:

       Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate 
     concurring),


        use of emancipation hall for a ceremony to dedicate the 
semiquincentennial time capsule in honor of america's 250th anniversary

       Section 1. 
       (a) Authorization.--Emancipation Hall in the Capitol 
     Visitor Center is authorized to be used on June 24, 2026, for 
     a ceremony to dedicate the Semiquincentennial Congressional 
     Time Capsule in honor of the 250th Anniversary of the signing 
     of the Declaration of Independence.
       (b) Preparations.--Physical preparations for the ceremony 
     described in subsection (a) shall be carried out in 
     accordance with such

     conditions as the Architect of the Capitol may prescribe.

  The concurrent resolution was agreed to.
  A motion to reconsider was laid on the table.
