RECOGNIZING THE RESTON SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION FIELD OFFICE

______
HON. JAMES R. WALKINSHAW
of virginia
in the house of representatives
Thursday, June 11, 2026
Mr. WALKINSHAW. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to recognize Public Service
Week and to honor the dedicated public servants of the Social Security
Administration Reston Field Office who tirelessly serve Virginia's 11th
Congressional District each day.
The Reston Field Office plays a critical role in supporting residents
across our district. Whether assisting seniors with retirement
benefits, helping individuals navigate disability services, or
supporting families during times of transition, these public servants
are often the first point of contact for those seeking help. Their work
ensures that residents receive the vital services they depend on.
The staff of the Reston Field Office carry out this responsibility
with professionalism and care. They assist individuals through complex
processes, answer questions, and help resolve issues that have a real
impact on people's lives.
During Public Service Week, we recognize the importance of this work
and the individuals who make it possible. In recognition of their
service to Virginia's 11th Congressional District, I include in the
Record the names of the 22 dedicated staff members of the Social
Security Administration Reston Field Office.
Brandice Shafron, Anh Duong-Anderson, Shyrell Delair,
Srinivasulu Rayala, Ravi Akkineni, Ramiro Espinoza, Quincy
Batiste, Erika Wells, Gabriela Martinez, Kaila Scott-
Whitehead, Whitney Gordon, Joseph Deguzman, Julie Kubiak, AJ
Hartman, Natalia Jimenez, AnhTu Luu, Carisma Johnson, Brencis
Kim, Jawaria Adeel, Mariam Popal, Nora Bahamonde, and James
Lee.
Their efforts reflect the vital role public servants play in
strengthening our communities and supporting individuals and families
across Northern Virginia.
Mr. Speaker, I ask my colleagues to join me in recognizing Public
Service Week and in expressing our gratitude to the staff of the Social
Security Administration Reston Field Office for their continued service
to our district.
