  SA 5584. Mr. GALLEGO submitted an amendment intended to be proposed 
by him to the bill S. 2, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to 
title II of S; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

       At the appropriate place, insert the following:

     SEC. ___. PROHIBITION ON USE OF ANTI-WEAPONIZATION FUND FOR 
                   INDIVIDUALS PARDONED FOR JANUARY 6-RELATED 
                   OFFENSES AND SUBSEQUENTLY CONVICTED OF FIREARM 
                   OFFENSES.

       No payment may be made from the Anti-Weaponization Fund 
     announced by the Department of Justice on May 18, 2026, to 
     any individual who was pardoned for an offense relating to 
     the attack on the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021, 
     and was subsequently convicted of a firearm offense.
