  SA 5480. Mr. HICKENLOOPER submitted an amendment intended to be 
proposed by him to the bill S. 2, to provide for reconciliation 
pursuant to title II of S. Con. Res. 33; which was ordered to lie on 
the table; as follows:

       Strike section 202 (relating to U.S. Immigration and 
     Customs Enforcement) and insert the following:

     SEC. 202. REIMBURSE AMERICANS FOR HIGH GAS PRICES CAUSED BY 
                   THE WAR IN IRAN.

       In addition to amounts otherwise available, there is 
     appropriated to the Secretary of Homeland Security for fiscal 
     year 2026, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise 
     appropriated, $31,075,000,000, to remain available until 
     September 30, 2029, for immediate consumer refunds for high 
     gas prices caused by the war in Iran.
