  SA 5462. Mr. COONS submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by 
him to the bill S. 2, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title 
II of S. Con. Res. 33; which was ordered to lie on the table; as 
follows:

       At the appropriate place, insert the following:

     SEC. ___. PRIORITIZATION FOR REMOVAL OF INDIVIDUALS CONVICTED 
                   OF SERIOUS CRIMES OR INDIVIDUALLY ASSESSED TO 
                   BE DANGERS TO THE COMMUNITY.

       The Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement 
     shall prioritize, over the removal of longtime residents 
     without criminal records, the removal of individuals who have 
     been convicted of serious crimes or who pose a danger to the 
     community based on individualized threat assessments.
