REQUEST TO RECEDE FROM THE HOUSE AMENDMENT AND TO CONCUR IN THE SENATE 
AMENDMENT TO H.R. 7147, DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY APPROPRIATIONS 
                               ACT, 2026

  Mr. ALFORD. Mr. Speaker, I ask unanimous consent to take from the 
Speaker's table the bill (H.R. 7147) making further consolidated 
appropriations for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026, and for 
other purposes, with the House amendment to the Senate amendment 
thereto, to recede from the House amendment and to concur in the Senate 
amendment.
