  SA 5299. Ms. CANTWELL submitted an amendment intended to be proposed 
by her to the concurrent resolution S. Con. Res. 33, setting forth the 
congressional budget for the United States Government for fiscal year 
2026 and setting forth the appropriate budgetary levels for fiscal 
years 2027 through 2035; which was ordered to lie on the table; as 
follows:

       At the end of title IV, add the following:

     SEC. 4____. CONGRESSIONAL BUDGET OFFICE CALCULATION AND 
                   ANALYSIS ON THE COST OF INCREASED GAS PRICES ON 
                   FAMILIES IN THE UNITED STATES.

       Not later than 30 days after the date on which this 
     resolution is adopted by Congress, the Congressional Budget 
     Office shall submit to Congress, and make publicly available, 
     a report that calculates and analyzes the cost to families in 
     the United States resulting from increased gas prices since 
     February 28, 2026.
