  SA 5136. Mr. WHITEHOUSE submitted an amendment intended to be 
proposed by him to the concurrent resolution S. Con. Res. 33, setting 
forth the congressional budget for the United States Government for 
fiscal year 2026 and setting forth the appropriate budgetary levels for 
fiscal years 2027 through 2035; which was ordered to lie on the table; 
as follows:

                       TITLE V--POLICY STATEMENTS

     SEC. 5001. POLICY STATEMENT ON MEDICAID WORK REQUIREMENTS.

       It is the policy of this concurrent resolution that if the 
     Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services does not issue the 
     interim final rule on Medicaid work requirements required by 
     Public Law 119-21 by June 1, 2026, implementation of such 
     work requirement shall be postponed for 1 year.
