HONORING 110TH ANNIVERSARY OF W.K. KELLOGG ARABIAN HORSE CENTER

(Mrs. TORRES of California asked and was given permission to address
the House for 1 minute.)
Mrs. TORRES of California. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to honor the
100th anniversary of the W.K. Kellogg Arabian Horse Center in Pomona,
California.
Founded in 1925 by Will Keith Kellogg, this remarkable institution
began as one man's bold vision to pair education with purpose and
inspire lives through the beauty of Arabian horses.
That vision grew far beyond the ranch, helping lay the foundation for
Cal Poly Pomona, a university rooted in access, equity, and hands-on
learning.
For a century, the Kellogg Arabian Horse Center has been a gateway to
opportunity. Through programs like Sunday Shows, Foal Watch, and Horses
for Heroes, students truly learned by doing, developing skills in
leadership and service that carry them far beyond the classroom.
As we celebrate this milestone, we honor not just the historic
institution but the transformative power of education and philanthropy.
I congratulate the W.K. Kellogg Arabian Horse Center on a century of
excellence and impact, and cheers to the next 100 years.
