Committee on Armed Services: Committee concluded open and closed 
hearings to examine the posture of United States European Command and 
United States Transportation Command in review of the Defense 
Authorization Request for Fiscal Year 2027 and the Future Years Defense 
Program, after receiving testimony from General Alexus G. Grynkewich, 
USAF, United States European Command, and General Randall Reed, USAF, 
Commander, United States Transportation Command, both of the Department 
of Defense.
BUSINESS MEETING
Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation: Committee ordered 
favorably reported the nominations of Matthew Anderson, of Colorado, to 
be Deputy Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space 
Administration, Michael Graham, of Virginia, to be a Member of the 
National Transportation Safety Board, Richard Kloster, of West 
Virginia, to be a Member of the Surface Transportation Board, Seval Oz, 
of California, to be an Assistant Secretary of Transportation, Arvind 
Raman, of Indiana, to be Under Secretary of Commerce for Standards and 
Technology, and routine lists in the Coast Guard.
FOREIGN INFLUENCE IN HIGHER EDUCATION
Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions: Committee 
concluded a hearing to examine transparency and trust, focusing on 
foreign influence in higher education, after receiving testimony from 
Peter Wood, National Association of Scholars, New York, New York; Craig 
Singleton, Foundation for Defense of Democracies, Washington, D.C.; and 
Robert Daly, The Asia Society, Ellicott City, Maryland.

Committee on the Judiciary: Committee ordered favorably reported the 
nominations of Melissa Holyoak, to be United States Attorney for the 
District of Utah for the term of four years, and Phillip Williams, Jr., 
to be United States Attorney for the Northern District of Alabama for 
the term of four years.
