  SA 4253. Mr. CRUZ submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by 
him to the bill H.R. 7148, making further consolidated appropriations 
for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026, and for other purposes; 
which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

       At the appropriate place in division E, insert the 
     following:
       Sec. ___.  None of the funds made available for obligation 
     or expenditure by the District of Columbia government by this 
     Act or any other Act may be used to carry out title IX of the 
     Fiscal Year 1997 Budget Support Act of 1996 (sec. 50-2209.01 
     et seq., D.C. Official Code).
