  SA 4243. Ms. ROSEN submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by 
her to the bill H.R. 7148, making further consolidated appropriations 
for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026, and for other purposes; 
which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

       At the appropriate place in division B, insert the 
     following:
       Sec. __.  None of the funds made available under this Act 
     to the Department of Health and Human Services may be used to 
     implement or promote changes to the childhood and adolescent 
     immunization schedule that are not consistent with the 
     recommendations for child and adolescent immunizations made 
     by the American Academy of Pediatrics. The salary of the 
     Secretary of Health

     and Human Services shall be reduced to $1 annually until the 
     changes to the childhood and adolescent immunization schedule 
     that were announced by the Centers for Disease Control and 
     Prevention in January 2026 are reversed and the official 
     recommendations by the Centers for Disease Control and 
     Prevention for child and adolescent immunizations match the 
     recommendations by such agency for such immunizations that 
     were in effect in 2024, with any additional changes to the 
     childhood and adolescent immunization schedule occurring only 
     in consultation with, and with the agreement of, the American 
     Academy of Pediatrics.
