SAVING HOMEOWNERS FROM OVERREGULATION WITH EXCEPTIONAL RINSING ACT

Conservation Act to revise the definition of showerhead will now
resume.

to the Committee on Energy and Commerce.
The material previously referred to by Mr. Riley of New York is as
follows:
Mr. Riley of New York moves to recommit the bill H.R. 4593
to the Committee on Energy and Commerce with instructions to
report the same back to the House forthwith, with the
following amendment:
Page 3, line 21, insert ``In revising such regulations, the
Secretary of Energy may only establish or amend standards
under the Energy Policy and Conservation Act for any type or
class of showerhead if such standards do not result in
increased costs for consumers.'' after ``section.''.
