RESEARCH SECURITY: EXAMINING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE CHIPS AND 
SCIENCE ACT AND NATIONAL SECURITY PRESIDENTIAL MEMORANDUM 33
Committee on Science, Space, and Technology: Subcommittee on 
Investigations and Oversight held a hearing entitled ``Research 
Security: Examining the Implementation of the CHIPS and Science Act and 
NSPM-33''. Testimony was heard from Rebecca Keiser, Acting Chief of 
Staff, National Science Foundation; Daniel Evans, Assistant Deputy 
Associate Administrator for Research, National Aeronautics and Space 
Administration; Patricia Valdez, Chief Extramural Research Integrity 
Officer, National Institutes of Health, Department of Health and Human 
Services; and Jay Tilden, Director of Office of Intelligence and 
Counterintelligence, Department of Energy.

markup on H.R. 6422, the ``American Water Stewardship Act''; H.R. 5663,

Relief Act of 2025''; H.R. 6086, the ``Aviation Funding Solvency Act''; 
H.R. 3410, the ``Supersonic Aviation Modernization Act''; H.R. 6267, 
the ``Aviation Supply Chain Safety and Security Digitization Act of 
2025''; H.R. 6460, the ``Recreational Drone Empowerment Act''; H.R. 
5783, the ``State Actions for Employing Transportation Risk Assessments

EXAMINING THE INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY'S USE OF COMMERCIAL INFORMATION
Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence: Full Committee held a 
hearing entitled ``Examining the Intelligence Community's use of 
Commercial Information''. Testimony was heard from Aaron Lukas, 
Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence; Christopher 
Scolese, Director, National Reconnaissance Office; and Lieutenant 
General Michele Bredenkamp, Director, National Geospatial-Intelligence 
Agency, Department of Defense. This hearing was closed.

Joint Meetings
BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA
Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe: Commission concluded 
a hearing to examine Bosnia and Herzegovina at a crossroads, focusing 
on thirty years after Dayton, after receiving testimony from 
Christopher Chivvis, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace; and 
Clint Williamson, Georgetown University.
