  SA 4093. Mr. DURBIN submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by 
him to the bill H.R. 4016, making appropriations for the Department of 
Defense for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026, and for other 
purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

        At the appropriate place, insert the following:

     SEC. __. POSSE COMITATUS LIMITATIONS ON NATIONAL GUARD 
                   DEPLOYMENTS.

       Section 502(f)(2)(A) of title 32, United States Code, is 
     amended by inserting ``, subject to the limitations of 
     section 1385 of title 18, commonly referred to as the `Posse 
     Comitatus Act' '' after ``Secretary of Defense''.
