  SA 4025. Mrs. SHAHEEN submitted an amendment intended to be proposed 
by her to the bill H.R. 4016, making appropriations for the Department 
of Defense for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026, and for other 
purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

       At the appropriate place, insert the following:
       Sec. _____.  None of the funds appropriated by this Act 
     shall be used to implement or support the appointment of a 
     standing trustees under section 586(b) of title 28, United 
     States Code, to serve more than 1 bankruptcy court in Region 
     1 unless those courts are in the same State.
