  SA 4006. Mr. COONS submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by 
him to the bill H.R. 4016, making appropriations for the Department of 
Defense for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026, and for other 
purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

        On page 874, line 12, insert ``Provided further, That if 
     the Secretary does not meet the timelines established in the 
     preceding proviso, the Secretary shall renew for a period of 
     12 months all existing continuum of care grants and youth 
     homelessness demonstration projects expiring during calendar 
     year 2027:'' after ``December 1, 2026:''.
