                       TRIBUTE TO TAMMY THOMPSON

 Mr. TILLIS. Mr. President, I rise today to recognize Tammy 
Thompson, who is retiring as director of veteran services for the 
Alamance County Veteran Service Office. For more than 14 years, Mrs. 
Thompson has served North Carolina's veterans with exceptional 
dedication, making an immeasurable impact on the lives of countless 
individuals.
  Under her leadership, the Alamance County Veteran Service Office has 
experienced tremendous growth. She is a true leader who has served as 
both a professional and personal mentor to her staff, continually 
pushing the envelope to provide positive outcomes for the veterans and 
families of Alamance County.
  Throughout her career, Mrs. Thompson built strong relationships 
across the State, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues, 
veterans, and community partners alike. Her service has exemplified the 
highest standards of excellence, and I am deeply grateful for the 
outstanding support she consistently provided to the staff in my North 
Carolina offices on behalf of our Nation's veterans and their families.
  I wish Mrs. Thompson all the best for happiness and good health in 
the years ahead.
