  SA 3988. Mr. SHEEHY submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to 
amendment SA 3951 submitted by Ms. Collins and intended to be proposed 
to the bill H.R. 4016, making appropriations for the Department of 
Defense for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026, and for other 
purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

        In the matter under the heading ``administrative 
     provisions--forest service'' under the heading ``Forest 
     Service'' under the heading ``DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE'' in 
     title III of division C, insert ``until the briefing 
     requirements described in the paragraph entitled `Wildland 
     Fire Consolidation' in the report accompanying this Act are 
     satisfied and the report required under that paragraph is 
     transmitted to the Committee on Appropriations of the Senate, 
     the Committee on Appropriations of the House of 
     Representatives, the Committee on Energy and Natural 
     Resources of the Senate, the Committee on Natural Resources 
     of the House of Representatives, the Committee on 
     Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry of the Senate, and the 
     Committee on Agriculture of the House of Representatives'' 
     before the period at the end.
