  SA 3987. Mr. GALLEGO (for himself and Mr. Kelly) submitted an 
amendment intended to be proposed to amendment SA 3951 submitted by Ms. 
Collins and intended to be proposed to the bill H.R. 4016, making 
appropriations for the Department of Defense for the fiscal year ending 
September 30, 2026, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on 
the table; as follows:

        At the appropriate place in title IV of division C, insert 
     the following:


               dragon bravo and white sage fires recovery

       Sec. 4__.  (a) There are appropriated--
       (1) $160,000,000 to the Forest Service for recovery from 
     the Dragon Bravo and White Sage fires in the Kaibab National 
     Forest; and
       (2) $600,000,000 to the National Park Service for recovery 
     from the Dragon Bravo and White Sage fires in Grand Canyon 
     National Park.
       (b) The amounts made available under this section are 
     designated by Congress as being for emergency requirements 
     pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(A)(i) of the Balanced Budget 
     and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985 (2 U.S.C. 
     901(b)(2)(A)(i)).
