Committee on Appropriations: Subcommittee on State, Foreign Operations, 
and Related Programs concluded a hearing to examine the abduction of 
Ukrainian children by the Russian Federation, after receiving testimony 
from Senators Blumenthal and Klobuchar; Representatives McCaul and 
Fitzpatrick; Olha Stefanishyna, Ambassador of Ukraine to the United 
States, Maksym Maksymov, Office of the President of Ukraine, Mykola

a hearing to examine the nominations of Jared Isaacman, of 
Pennsylvania, to be Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space 
Administration, who was introduced by Senator Sheehy, and Steven 
Haines, of Virginia, to be an Assistant Secretary of Commerce, who was 
introduced by Senator Hagerty, after the nominees testified and 
answered questions in their own behalf.

Committee on Environment and Public Works: Committee concluded a 
hearing to examine the nominations of Lee Beaman, of Tennessee, to be a 
Member of the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Valley Authority, who 
was introduced by Senators Blackburn and Hagerty, and Douglas Weaver, 
of Maryland, to be a Member of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, who 
was introduced by Senator McCormick, after the nominees testified and 
answered questions in their own behalf.

the nominations of Tammy Bruce, of California, to be the Deputy 
Representative of the United States of America to the United Nations, 
with the rank and status of Ambassador, the Deputy Representative of

Nations, and to serve concurrently and without additional compensation 
as Representative of the United States of America to the Sessions of 
the General Assembly of the United Nations, during her tenure of 
service as Deputy Representative of the United States of America to the 
United Nations, Darryl Nirenberg, of Virginia, to be Ambassador to 
Romania, Melissa Argyros, of California, to be Ambassador to the 
Republic of Latvia, Christopher Yeaw, of Virginia, to be an Assistant 
Secretary (Arms Control, Nonproliferation, and Stability), Yehuda 
Kaploun, of Florida, to be Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-
Semitism, with the rank of Ambassador, and Bernardo Navarro, of Puerto 
Rico, to be Ambassador to the Republic of Peru, all of the Department 
of State.

Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions: Committee ordered 
favorably reported the nominations of Scott Mayer, of Pennsylvania, to 
be a Member of the National Labor Relations Board for the term of five 
years, and Mary Anne Carter, of Tennessee, to be Chairperson of the 
National Endowment for the Arts for a term of four years.

Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions: Committee 
concluded a hearing to examine making the health care system 
affordable, after receiving testimony from Joel C. White, Council for 
Affordable Health Coverage, Washington, D.C.; Marcie Strouse, Capitol 
Benefits Group, Des Moines, Iowa; and Claudia M. Fegan, Physicians for 
a National Health Program, Chicago, Illinois.

examine medication management in VA healthcare, after receiving 
testimony from Alyssa M. Hundrup, Director, Health Care, Government
