  SA 3944. Mr. THUNE proposed an amendment to amendment SA 3943 
proposed by Mr. Thune to the bill H.R. 5371, making continuing 
appropriations and extensions for fiscal year 2026, and for other 
purposes; as follows:

       At the end add the following:
       ``This Act shall take effect 3 days after the date of 
     enactment.''
