SA 3870. Mrs. SHAHEEN (for herself and Mr. Mullin) submitted an
amendment intended to be proposed by her to the bill S. 2296, to
authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2026 for military activities
of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for
defense activities of the Department of Energy, to prescribe military
personnel strengths for such fiscal year, and for other purposes; which
was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:
At the appropriate place, insert the following:
SECTION 1. REPEALS.
(a) Syria Accountability and Lebanese Sovereignty
Restoration Act of 2003.--The Syria Accountability and
Lebanese Sovereignty Restoration Act of 2003 (Public Law 108-
175; 22 U.S.C. 2151 note) is repealed.
(b) Syria Human Rights Accountability Act of 2012.--The
Syria Human Rights Accountability Act of 2012 (title VII of
Public Law 112-158; 22 U.S.C. 8701 et seq.) is repealed.
