  SA 3123. Ms. ROSEN (for herself, Mr. Crapo, Ms. Cortez Masto, and Mr. 
Risch) submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by her to the 
bill H.R. 3944, making appropriations for military construction, the 
Department of Veterans Affairs, and related agencies for the fiscal 
year ending September 30, 2026, and for other purposes; which was 
ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

       At the appropriate place, insert the following:

     SEC. ___. SUPPRESSION OF MORMON CRICKETS AND GRASSHOPPERS.

       Of the funds provided in this Act under the heading 
     ``salaries and expenses'' under the heading ``Animal and 
     Plant Health Inspection Service'' under the heading 
     ``AGRICULTURAL PROGRAMS'' under title I of division B, 
     $6,500,000 shall be for activities related to the suppression 
     and control of Mormon crickets and grasshoppers in Western 
     States, of which not less than $2,000,000 shall be for actual 
     treatment of landscape.
