  SA 3006. Mr. PAUL submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by 
him to the resolution S. Res. 81, calling on the United Kingdom, 
France, and Germany (E3) to initiate the snapback of sanctions on Iran 
under United Nations Security Council Resolution 2231 (2015); which was 
referred to the Committee on Foreign Relations; as follows:

        Strike all after the enacting clause and insert the 
     following: ``That the Senate--
       (1) supports the de-escalation of tensions between the 
     United States and Iran;
       (2) affirms that stable relations between the United States 
     and Iran are in the United States national interest;
       (3) seeks a peaceful resolution to concerns regarding 
     Iran's nuclear program; and
       (4) urges the Trump Administration to prioritize diplomacy 
     with Iran over kinetic conflict.
