  SA 2975. Ms. ROSEN submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by 
her to the bill H.R. 3944, making appropriations for military 
construction, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and related agencies 
for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026, and for other purposes; 
which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

       At the appropriate place in title II of division A, insert 
     the following:
       Sec. ___. (a) Amounts appropriated to the Department of 
     Veterans Affairs in any prior fiscal year for construction at 
     the medical center of the Department of Veterans Affairs in 
     Reno, Nevada, may be used only for a project at such medical 
     center.
       (b) Not later than 90 days after the date of the enactment 
     of this Act, the Secretary of Veterans Affairs shall provide 
     to the Committee on Appropriations and the Committee on 
     Veterans' Affairs of the Senate and the Committee on 
     Appropriations and the Committee on Veterans' Affairs of the 
     House of Representatives a briefing on the current status, 
     path forward, and timeline to construct a new medical center 
     of the Department of Veterans Affairs in Reno, Nevada.
