                       CONGRATULATING ROLLS-ROYCE

  Mr. WILSON of South Carolina. Mr. Speaker, South Carolinians are 
grateful that Rolls-Royce is expanding its manufacturing operations in 
Aiken County.
  The $75 million investment will create 60 new jobs, strengthen the 
local economy, and enhance career opportunities across the state.
  As a provider of off-highway engines and complete power generation 
solutions, Rolls-Royce develops and delivers complex power and 
propulsion solutions for safety-critical applications in the air, at 
sea, and on land.
  Since its establishment in 2010, the Aiken facility, with the 
leadership of their Vice President of Operations, Philipp Steinle, has 
grown to become a 395,000 square foot campus with state-of-the-art 
production capabilities, an engine testing facility, office space, a 
research center, and more.
  Additionally, this investment will increase the production of engines 
which will help meet the demand for high-power mission critical back up 
generators.
  The dedication and leadership of Chief Executive Officer, Adam Riddle 
is appreciated.
