SA 2888. Mr. BOOKER submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to
amendment SA 2853 proposed by Mr. Thune (for Mr. Schmitt) to the bill
H.R. 4, to rescind certain budget authority proposed to be rescinded in
special messages transmitted to the Congress by the President on June
3, 2025, in accordance with section 1012(a) of the Congressional Budget
and Impoundment Control Act of 1974; which was ordered to lie on the
table; as follows:
On page 6, line 16, strike ``$496,000,000 are rescinded:
Provided,'' and insert ``$200,000,000 are rescinded:
Provided, That not less than $200,000,000 of the unobligated
funds appropriated by such Act shall remain available for
assistance to Sudan: Provided further,''.
