BUSINESS MEETING
Committee on Appropriations: Committee ordered favorably reported the 
following business items:
  An original bill (S. 2256) entitled, ``Agriculture, Rural 
Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies 
Appropriations Act, 2026''; and
  An original bill (S. 2257) entitled, ``Legislative Branch 
Appropriations Act, 2026''.
  Also, the Committee began consideration of an original bill entitled, 
``Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 
2026'', but did not complete action thereon and recessed subject to the 
call of the Chair.
FOREST SERVICE BUDGET
Committee on Energy and Natural Resources: Committee concluded a 
hearing to examine the President's proposed budget request for fiscal 
year 2026 for the Forest Service, after receiving testimony from Tom 
Schultz, Chief of the Forest Service, Department of Agriculture.
INTELLIGENCE
Select Committee on Intelligence: Committee held closed hearings on 
intelligence matters, receiving testimony from officials of the 
intelligence community.
  Committee recessed subject to the call.
