  SA 2846. Mr. WELCH submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to 
amendment SA 2360 proposed by Mr. Thune (for Mr. Graham) to the bill 
H.R. 1, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of H. Con. 
Res. 14; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

       Strike section 71203, and insert the following:

     SEC. 71203. DELAY OF MODIFICATION OF COST SHARING 
                   REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTAIN EXPANSION INDIVIDUALS 
                   UNDER THE MEDICAID PROGRAM.

       (a) In General.--Section 1916 of the Social Security Act 
     (42 U.S.C. 1396o), as amended by section 71122, is further 
     amended by striking ``October 1, 2028'' each place it appears 
     and inserting ``October 1, 2032''.
       (b) Medicare Improvement Fund.--Section 1898(b)(1) of the 
     Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1395iii(b)(1)) is amended by 
     striking ``$1,804,000,000'' and inserting ``$1,788,000,000''.
