  SA 2837. Ms. ROSEN (for herself and Ms. Cortez Masto) submitted an 
amendment intended to be proposed to amendment SA 2360 proposed by Mr. 
Thune (for Mr. Graham) to the bill H.R. 1, to provide for 
reconciliation pursuant to title II of H. Con. Res. 14; which was 
ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

       On page 277, between lines 5 and 6, insert the following:
       ``(4) Service charges.--The requirements under paragraph 
     (2)(A) shall not apply to any amount that is a service charge 
     which is an automatic gratuity--
       ``(A) assessed in the case of a large dining party,
       ``(B) included as part of a banquet fee, or
       ``(C) included under any similar circumstances, but only if 
     such service charge satisfies such other requirements as the 
     Secretary may specify.''.
