  SA 2829. Mr. PADILLA submitted an amendment intended to be proposed 
to amendment SA 2360 proposed by Mr. Thune (for Mr. Graham) to the bill 
H.R. 1, to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of H. Con. 
Res. 14; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

       At the appropriate place in title X, insert the following:

     SEC. 10__. USE OF FUNDS.

       None of the funds made available under this title may be 
     used by any Federal, State, or local agency for any immigrant 
     enforcement operation in the agriculture, restaurant, or 
     hospitality industry that does not exclusively target violent 
     criminals.
